Team Building Venues

Below are some team building venues that we think are suitable for team building programmes. If you are interested to know more about any of them, we will be delighted to provide a one-stop service for you and assist you to make venue arrangements for your team building event.

Discovery Bay Golf Club

Located on the Lantau Island, Discovery Bay hosts a 27-hole championship golf course, swimming pool; tennis courts and beautiful walking trails throughout the hills of Lantau and wonderful dining areas. They also offer 17 accommodation rooms within the club house. A mere 20 minutes from the Hong Kong International airport and only 5 minutes from Discovery Bay Plaza which offers a wide selection of more than 15 boutique restaurants and bars.

Island Shangri-La Hotel

Island Shangri-La Hotel is a city hotel, which means you can either have your meetings there and travel to somewhere nearby for your team building event (like the Oceanpark, see below), or you can have your meeting in the morning and have an indoor team building session in the afternoon.

Island Shangri-La has several large ballrooms, one of our clients’ favourite is the “Island Ballroom” at level 56. With a panaromic view of the peak and a birds’ eye view of the neighbouring skyscrappers, it offers an interesting meeting venue. Connected to it is also a outdoor roof garden, where participants can have their coffee break.

There are also a few other large ballrooms at Level 5, they are all nicely decorated and fitted with the usual meeting facilities.

The thing that will strike you the most about Island Shangri-La is not the size of the ballroom or the grandness of its decorations; it is service level of the staff there, from the sales people all the way down to the staff from the concierge. We have been there for a few projects and we will recommend them to anyone with a suitable budget.

Jumbo Kingdom

Jumbo Kingdom is a highly recommended venue for indoor team building due to its central location (it’s located at Aberdeen area, which is abotu 10 minutes drive from Admiralty Area, where famous 5-star hotels like Island Shangri-La, J W Marriot & Conrad are located).

This famous floating restaurant decorated with traditional chinese mythical creatures also adds a “WOW” factor to your event, especially if you have overseas guests.

They have several private rooms that can accomodate different group sizes and their quality of their food and service is comparable to some hotels. Their prices are also not exhorbitant.

Ocean Park Hong Kong

Ocean park is probably one of the most popular theme parks in Hong Kong, it opens from 10am to 6pm daily and can be booked after 6pm for corporate events. It is located in Aberdeen area and is about 15 minutes’ bus ride from town area (Admiralty MTR). The park offers a wide array of interesting exhibits (including large sea acquariums, jelly fish & sea lion shows) and also adrenaline pumping rides for thrill seekers (these rides more suitable for adults than the other younger and also famous theme park in Hong Kong reviewed below).

There is one other exhibit that can’t be found in most asian (& many) zoos and that is the Giant Pandas. They are simply adorable, they have adjusted well in Hong Kong after being shipped here from China early this year. They are fed multiple times a day and you will likely catch a glimsp of them sitting down at the log and chewing on their favourite food - the chinese bamboo. They are surely crowd drawers in the park.

Another reason why you should host your team building programme in Ocean Park is the fact that they do have proper seminar facilities for you to hold your meeting to do briefing ad debrief for the team building activites. Their central locaiton is also a plus point if you do not intend to travel too far from town area.

愉景灣高爾夫球會

位於大嶼山的愉景灣高爾夫球會設備齊全，設有27洞高爾夫球場，游泳池，網球場，連接大嶼山步行小道和餐廳區。美麗的景色與美味的佳餚，近在眼前。會所內還提供17個房間可供住宿。到香港國際機場僅20分鐘行程，5分鐘便可抵達愉景灣廣場。廣場內的超過15家餐廳和酒吧提供多種餐飲選擇。

港島香格里拉大酒店

港島香格里拉大酒店是一座市區內的5星級酒店，您的會議和我們的室內團隊建設活動都可在酒店的會議廳內舉行。若選擇室外團對建設活動，我們可以到附近的場地進行（如香港海洋公園，見下文），又或者您可以在上午招開會議，下午則進行室內團隊建設課程。

港島香格里拉大酒店有幾個大型宴會廳，我們的客戶最喜歡的是56樓的“Island Ballroom” 。宴會廳窗外景色宜人，提供了一個有趣的會議場地。通過一扇小門便是一個戶外屋頂花園，參加者可以在那兒享用差點或玩一些簡單的team building 或 ice breaking games。

雖然這5星級酒店的裝換和設施都是一流的，會議結束後，令我們最難忘的卻是酒店的員工。從酒店的行銷顧問，幫忙打理大小事務的會議統籌，到櫃檯的服務員，甚至服務生都不僅彬彬有禮，而且都非常主動的配合顧客的需要已達到會議的需求。我們已經在港島香格里拉大酒店為客戶主辦過幾次會議，若預算合適，我們會極力推薦這個會議地點給我們的客戶。

珍寶王國

珍寶王國位置靠近市区，非常适合作为团队建设培训的晚餐地点（在香港仔地區，由著名的5星級酒店，如港島香格里拉大酒店，金威萬豪和康拉德酒店所在的金鐘地區大概10分鐘車程）。

這家著名海外的海鮮酒樓的行政總廚，餘敬禮先生不但廚藝一流，菜餚的配搭也非常有創意。珍寶王國的另一個賣點是它古典帆船的裝飾，船上手工精細的雕刻將您的活動增添另一個難忘的經驗，尤其是如果你有海外來的客人。

他們有幾間包房，可以容納不同人數。食物質量和服務可比美一些高級酒店，價格比起5星級酒店，也不算太昂貴。

香港海洋公園

海洋公園是香港最受歡迎的主題公園之一，開放時間為上午十時至下午六時，下午6時後可預定為企業的活動地點。它坐落在香港仔地區從市中心區約10分鐘車程（金鐘地鐵站）。公園提供各式各樣的有趣的展品（包括大型水族館，海蜇，還有海獅表演），還有許多刺激好玩的遊樂設施（這些遊樂設施適合較大的孩童和成年人，若有二至四歲的小孩，應該到迪斯尼樂園去）。

海洋公園內有一個在亞洲其他城市，甚至動物園都找不到的寶物-正是大熊貓。他們在2009年的年年初從中國運來香港。他們在園中適應得很好，看到他們咀嚼最喜歡的竹子會讓許多大人和小孩都不經意的微笑起來。到海洋公園，一定要看一看安安，佳佳，盈盈和樂樂哦！公園內其實有會議廳與其它會議設施，地點也適中。如果你不打算離市區太原，又想到一個好玩的場地，香港海洋公園是一個很好的選擇。
